We conduct comprehensive exams which allow us to accurately detect eye disease or other abnormalities early, often before they present any symptoms. We carry a wide selection of designer frames and sunglasses in our optical shop in order to fulfill the individual needs of each of our patients. Our mission is to provide our patients with optimal eye care to insure the health of their eyes and the quality of their vision.
Mark opened Eyewear Express in 2007. Mark has over 35 years of experience in many different areas of the optical field. Mark started at his father's wholesale lab at the age of 13 processing lenses. His experience has ranged from retail chain optical to private optometrist's offices giving him a good background in most all aspects of the eyewear industry. Mark has been certified by both the American Board of Opticianry and National Contact Lens Examiners. He is also licensed in Kentucky by the state board. Mark takes extreme pride and care in his work and personally cuts and inspects every order.
Dr. Micah Seilheimer is our independent doctor of optometry. Growing up with a father, uncle, and grandfather in the optical field, it didn't take her long to realize eyes were her passion. Raised here in Paducah, she graduated from Lone Oak High School in 2012. She then went on to complete her Associate's degree at WKCTC in 2013, then her bachelor's degree at Murray State in 2016. Dr. Seilheimer completed her optometry education at the Indiana University School of Optometry, graduating class of 2020. She has completed externships at the Gunderson Health System Eye Clinic in Decorah, IA, the Atwater Eye Care Center in Bloomington, IN, the Indianapolis Eye Care Center in Indianapolis, IN, and the Talley Eye Institute in Evansville, IN. Dr. Seilheimer believes in compassionate, friendly, and thorough eye care for each individual that finds themself in her exam chair.
Dr. Steve Gamblin is the independent doctor of optometry located at Eyewear Express. He has been practicing optometry in Paducah for over 30 years and has been at Eyewear Express since 2010. One thing his patients always seem to comment on is the thoroughness of the eye exam, really taking time with each and every patient that comes to see him. A Paducah native, he is a graduate of Paducah Tilghman and Western Kentucky University. Dr. Gamblin graduated with honors from the UAB School of Optometry in Birmingham, Alabama in 1989. In his free time he enjoys fishing, playing guitar, and spending time with his granddaughter Emma Grace.
Andrea is our general manager here at Eyewear Express. She is a state licensed optician and also certified by both the American Board of Opticianry and National Contact Lens Examiners. Andrea has nearly 15 years of experience in the optical field. Andrea is loved for her skill of taking as much time as needed in helping you find that perfect pair of frames that looks stylish and fits well. She also has a strong lab background that gives her a better insight into what types of prescriptions and lenses will work well with your frame choice.
